  1. Hi! Nice to meet you!
This is Takara first year student in Ritsumeikan University. I am majoring in Business Administration. I’m planning to go to Canada for studying my field next summer.

So, I’m gonna little bit introducing myself.
I love playing and watching basketball especially NBA. Do you like basketball? or Are you interested in other sport?
I also love listening to U.S. music; I like R&B and Chris Brown is my favorite.
What is your favorite music? Do you know any Japanese musician?
    What is your hobby?

    Can you read にほんご?
Is there anything I can help on your learning Japanese language?
I have not taught someone Japanese, but wish I could help you.
So, feel free to ask me anything!

    1. Takara-san, nice to meet you!

Thank you for offering to help me with Japanese! I'm sure I'm going to be making lots of mistakes when I try to write in Japanese more, so it's nice to have someone to help me! I have learned to read ひらがな and am learning カタカナ right now, but since I haven't been studying very long I do not know a lot of vocabulary...

As for your other questions, I don't follow basketball much, but my favorite sport is fencing. It's not a very popular sport, but I did it in high school and I still enjoy watching people fence.
I listen to many types of music, but I do listen to Japanese music too! I don't think the artists I listen to are very popular, but right now some of my favorite include LiSA, Kalafina, ChouCho, Yui Horie, and some web singers like 花たん.

Thanks again for reading my blog and for offering to help me :)

  2. Thank you for your comment ナタリー!
I know fencing! I think most Japanese people do, though it's not popular in Japan.
At the London Orynpic, Japanese team got a silver medal. The semi-final is the very amazing game in which Ohota got a point in last 2 seconds to go into overtime to beet Garmanny team. This victory was broadcasted again and again. All Japanese was eultant.
Actually, Ohota, a greatest fencer in Japan, is an OB of my high school and I have met him onece.
We had fencing club and I used to copy fencing move to steal a ball in basketball. They move unbeliably fast don't they?

Unfortunately, I know nothing of your favorite artists. I will check on youtube!

Sorry am bad at spelling so there must be a lot of spell mistakes.
Please teach me English and about U.S.A. Ithink we can learn from each other.
But at first, I want to make a good friend with you!
    Let's chat here!

    1. Takara-san, I think it's very cool that you have met such a good fencer! Fencing is fun sport, I wish that more people had the chance to try it. I will look up the fencing match with Germany you spoke of later and see if I can find a video!

And yes I know my favorite artists are not very popular >< But I also like YUI, have you heard of her? I visited Japan once when her new album was coming out and I saw advertisements a lot, so perhaps she is someone you would have heard of?

Don't worry about your spelling mistakes, I can understand what you're saying just fine! I'm sure I'm making a lot of Japanese mistakes, so please feel free to let me know when I write something wrong. It's exciting to make a friend from Japan, and please let me know if there is anything about English or the U.S. that you want to know! :)
